The Beauty Glow, was created in 2021 which was a tough year as COVID pandemic was still present and we wasn’t able to work full-time. At the time we’ve been creating content, doing single clients (when we were allowed) and was home based salon. We was fortunate enough as we had our loyal clients which waited for our services to reopen full time. We quickly gained more clients by word of mouth which was amazing! In 2022 we’ve opened our first studio, as home base was just too small for us, as our clientele grown. Since then we’ve been working hard to educate, completed variety of facial and beauty courses and exploring many brands to work with the best. Our mission is to empower people to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. We believe that everyone deserves to feel good about themselves, no matter their age, gender, or skin type. We're committed to treatments that help you look and feel your best.
I’ve officially changed my work title to Aesthetic Practitioner in 2022, after completing my Aesthetic Practitioner diploma at University College Birmingham. I’ve worked my way up from level 2 Beauty Therapy back in 2017, which is when I first felt passionate about beauty. Furthermore, I completed level 3 Spa Therapy after which I progressed into Spa Therapist role at local Spa. Since then, I’ve been working in various beauty settings such as beauty salons, which allowed me to gain experience in different fields and working with a wide range of clients, this taught me how to adapt to their needs and meet their expectations. I’ve always had a unique interest and a lot of passion towards facial treatments, which I specialise in. For example, microneedling or chemical peels, which are some of the more challenging facial treatments as they require more commitment and time to see results. On the other hand, the beauty aspect of my occupation includes services such as eyelash extensions or eyebrow treatments where results are seen instantly. Something that especially fascinates me is that you never come across the same facial features as they are all different and unique, which means you will never do the same set of eyelashes or eyebrows!
My work quickly became my hobby too. As working in one of the fastest growing industries; research, reading and networking is just part of it all. I could never just sit and do nothing, so I do enjoy constantly learning and educating myself. I’ve taken part in many additional courses, conferences and beauty expos to find the perfect brands and treatments, which follow same work ethic as mine.
I truly believe in non-surgical beauty and that less is more. Our skin has endless potential to be glowy and healthy if we commit to specialised treatment plans and professional skin care products. Therefore, I’ve chosen to work with medical-grade products as safety is priority but also result-driven.
I have always been into beauty but my journey with the industry started back in 2014, when I decided to enrol onto Level 2 Beauty Therapy course. At that time I had a huge interest in nail enhancements, however my focus shifted once I began to learn about all the other treatments such as eyebrows, waxing, facials and spa therapies. The best thing about this industry is that it grows by the day, and there is so many different treatments and procedures to choose from, that you don’t have to limit yourself to only specialise in just one.
Upon completing my Level 2 & Level 3 Beauty and Spa therapy qualifications, I began working in various beauty salons. This is also when I was first introduced to lash extensions, and I have completely fallen in love with them! “ One size does not fit all” and having over 7 years of experience as a lash stylist I have not once came across the same set of lashes, they really do look different on everyone, which makes them very versatile and unique. Creating customised lash extension services to achieve flattering results tailored to each client is a highlight of my day.
The experience I’ve gained working with a wide range of clients allowed me to understand their needs and how to fulfil their expectations. Over the years, building relationships with my clients, who are with me to this day, and seeing how happy my work makes them feel is probably the best aspect of my job.
Along the way I have also completed multiple additional product and treatment training courses, and in 2022 I have completed my Aesthetic Practitioner diploma at University College Birmingham, which only expanded my qualifications and my passion for the work I do.
